2.MCA/MIA Gym Usage Survey

The MCA/MIA  have established a gym usage committee to encourage organized usage of the gym that is effective and beneficial for the whole community.  The first objective is going to be to establish organized competitive sports teams.  These include basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton etc.

Research has shown that regular exercise has been shown to improve insulin sensitivity, cardiovascular fitness and body composition, yet decrease blood pressure and blood fat levels. Furthermore, exercise is also one of the most effective ways to improve your mental health.  Regular exercise can have a profoundly positive impact on depression, anxiety, ADHD and more.  It also relieves stress, improves memory, helps you sleep better, and boosts overall mood. We hope these efforts will be in the spirit of keeping our mind and body healthy and preserving the amana that Allah swt has blessed us with.
